The rooms at Atha Resort are exceptional and new-fashioned, with a balcony. The breakfast is huge and the setting is absolutely perfect. The staff is amazingly kind and accommodating, offering free wake-up calls and ironing services. The resort is pretty close to the airport, just 5 km away.

It would be more convenient if there were transportation services available to take guests to Lions Rock or nearby restaurants, as relying on tuktuks or cars can be a hassle.

We had an amazing stay at this resort! The staff were extremely welcoming and attentive, making us feel right at home. The food was delicious, especially the breakfast which was incredible. The rooms had stunning views and were very comfortable, perfect for watching the beautiful monsoon storms. The pool was lovely and the service by the pool during the day was excellent. We also appreciated the fact that they helped us with extending our stay and changing our taxis.

That some menu items were not available for dinner, including the local options. We would have loved to try the Sri Lankan curry, but were told it needed 90 minutes to cook.

Spent Christmas at this small resort and was pleasantly surprised by the lovely beach view from the balcony. The comfortable beds and delicious food were definite highlights of the stay. We also enjoyed the convenient location close to the city center and shops.

The staff was quite unprofessional and often seemed annoyed by any inquiries or requests. while the location and amenities were adequate, the poor service and subpar facilities left us with a less than stellar impression.

This xmas, I visited a hotel that had a few things going for it. First of all, the hotel had amazing views of the pool from the room. the location was great and easily accessible. , the hotel had a very responsive staff, ready to attend to our needs.

The hotel lacked some things that were very important to me. their cuisine was not good at all.

our recent stay in sigiriya exceeded our expectations. atha resort provided amazing hospitality, a great location, excellent food, and comfortable accommodation. the recently refurbished rooms were spacious and the balcony overlooking the farm was a lovely touch. the staff went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. we will definitely be returning.
